Overview
RF Signal Viewer & Editor is a easy to use Windows application that can visually check, edit, and analyze a signal files, user created or sampled through measurement equipment or ADC boards. Various graphs allow you to easily characterize your signal file and analyze different aspects of them in multiple domains in short period of time.
It is also a software platform for building RF signal measurement and test systems with minor modifications as examples below.

Visualization of the sampled signal
This software visually displays the sampled signal through various graphs as shown below. Even if the length of the signal is long, you can quickly check the overall appearance and detailed features of the signal through the zoom function and navigation function. Script tools such as Matlab and Python provide powerful and versatile functions, but user has to program by themselves and can be vulnerable to processing long signal files. This software was developed to visually check at a glance and easily edit these long sampled signal files.
Import binary & text files
As shown in the figure below, you can easily import binary and text files of various types and formats. If you open the file first, you can verify contents of the data through graphs and text, and even if there is no information about the data, you can check the data type and format while changing each of them.
Extract or Filter with frequency translation
The function to cut and save a specific part of a signal file is supported in the following two ways. The first is simply a function to save a part of a file, and the second is a function to select and save a part in the time domain and frequency domain.
Resampling
This function converts a signal file to an arbitrary sampling rate.
Resampling is useful for reducing file size by reducing bandwidth, or for signal processing that requires a specific sample rate.
Save
Currently opened or edited files can be saved as binary and text files in various formats as shown in the figure below. Alternatively, if you save it as an R&S *.wv file, you can use it directly in the R&S vector signal generator.
